It is kept in a silken bag that has pure gold decorations. It is also changed every year and prepared in the same factory that makes the Ghilaaf\ الغالف (The Kiswah\ الكسوة of Tha Ka bah\.(الكعبة One side of the bag bears an inscription of the verse: {إ ن للا ي أ م ر ك م أ ن ت ؤ د وا ا ل م ان ات إ ل ى أ ه ل ه ا و إ ذ ا ح ك م ت م ب ي ن الن اس أ ن ت ح ك م وا ب ال ع د ل إ ن للا ن ع م ا ي ع ظ ك م ب ه إ ن للا ك ان س م يع ا ب ص ير ا { It is Aayah (58) of Suratu Al Nisaa \ سورة النساء and means: Allaah\ هللا does command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; and when you judge between people that you judge with justice: verily how excellent is the teaching which He gives you! For هللاAllaah is He Who heareth and sees all things. The reason for the revelation is this Aayah is the following: :(يوم فتح مكة Makkah\ (This happens on the Day of The Victory of إسحاق Es-haq\ Naarrated Ebnu Then the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam sat in the Masjed and Alee\ علي Alayhessalaamu came to him with the key of the الكعبةKa bah in his hand asking him to grant his family the right of guarding the temple as well as the watering of the pilgrim, but the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam called for Uthmaan ben Talhah\ عثمان بن طلحة and said: Here is your key O ;عثمانUthmaan today is a day of good faith. "هاك مفتاحك يا عثمان اليوم يوم بر ووفاء." On the day of the Conquest of Makkah\ فتح مكة,يوم the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam came to the Ka bah\ الكعبة and touched the Black Stone with his Stick (mehjan\ (المحجن while on his camel and made Takbeer\ هللا أكبر and the Muslims made Takbeer\ تكبير after him. They repeated the Takbeer \ تكبير and Makkah\ مكة shook from their Takbeers \ تكبير. They continued to make Takbeers \ تكبير while the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam was indicating to them to stop and be quite. While this was happening inside the Masjed the disbelievers were on the mountains looking at them. Then the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam دمحم بن circumambulated the House while riding on his camel and Muhammad ben Maslamah kept in place by الكعبةKa bah was holding unto its rains. There were 360 idols around the مسلمة \

The Truth has come and falsehood has passed away; verily falsehood is sure to pass away. Then that idol would fall down face first on the ground. Narrated Ibnu Abbaas\ :إبن عباس The Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam would do no more than point the stick to the idol and it would fall down face first, and he went around the الكعبةKa bah seven times, touching each time his stick with the Black Stone. He has made good His promise and helped His servant. He has put to fight the confederates alone. Every claim of privilege or blood or property are abolished by me except the custody of The House (that is the keeper of the key).(زمزم Zamzam\ and the watering of the pilgrims (that is Narrayed Al Waaqedee\ الواقدي in his book Ketaab Al Maghaazee\ كتاب المغازي in the chapter of : فتح مكة Makkah\ the Victory over Then the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam sat down in the Masjed, the people sitting around him and then he sent Bilaal\ بالل to Uthmaan ben Talhah عثمان came to Uthmaan باللBilaal from him. الكعبةKa bah to get the key of the عثمان بن طلحة \ and told him: The Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam is asking you to bring him the key of the الكعبةKa bah. عثمانUthmaan said: certainly! بالل Bilaal\ and,بنت شيبة Shaybah\ went to his mother, and she is the daughter of عثمانUthmaan went back to the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam informing him that عثمانUthmaan said yes. عثمانUthmaan went to his mother and she had the key in that day and said to her: O mother give the key, because the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam sent someone to me for me to bring him the key.

3 3 His mother said: I ask Allaah\ هللا to protect you from being the one in whose hands the superiority of his tribe will be lost forever. He said: By هللاAllaah either you will give it to me or someone else will come and will take it from you. She put her hand inside her skirt and said: Who is the man who will pu his hand inside here? While they in that situation and he is talking to her, she heard the voice of Abuu Bakr\ أبوبكر and Umar\ عمر inside the house, and Umar was in bringing the key عثمان Uthmaan\ was raising his voice when he saw how slow عمر \ saying: O Uthmaan\ عثمان come to me! Then his mother said: My son take the key, for I prefer that you take it from me than a man of Banee Taym\ بني تيم (Abuu (أبوبكرBakr or a man.(عمرumar ) بني عدي Adeyye\ from Banee So عثمانUthmaan brought the key to the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Sallam and handed it to him. When the key was in the hand of the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa العباس بن عبد Allaahu Alayhe Wa Sallam, (his uncle) Al Abbaasu ben Abdu Al Muttaleb I ransome you with my father and,هللا Allaah\ stretched his hand and said: O Prophet of المطلب \ mother, give us the key so we own both the Al Hejaabah\ الحجابة (The key of The House and its services) and the Seqaayah\ السقاية (the watering of Zamzam\ زمزم to the pilgrims). The Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam replied: أ ع ط يك م م ا ت ر ز ء ون ف يه و ال أ ع ط يك م م ا ت ر ز ء ون م ن ه. I will give you what you have lost and I will not give you what will cause others to lose something. Narrated Barrah bintu Abee Tijraah\ :برة بن أبي تجارة I was looking at the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam when he came out of The House, stood at the door and then came down while holding the key in his hand, then he moved to a place of the Masjed and sat down. The Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam had earlier taken the Seqaayah\ السقاية from Al العباسAbbaas and the key from Uthmaan said: After he sat down Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam.عثمان \ Call عثمانUthmaan for me. ا د ع وا إل ى ع ث م ان

4 4 Uthmaan ben Abee Talhah\ عثمان با أبي طلحة was called. In the past the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam had called عثمانUthmaan to become Muslim while he had the key, and said to him: "ل ع ل ك س ت ر ى ه ذ ا ال م ف ت اح ب ي د ى أ ض ع ه ح ي ث ش ئ ت!" One day you will see this key in my hand and give it to whom I please! Uthmaan\ عثمان replied: If this happens Quraysh\ قريش is destroyed and humiliated. The Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam then said: ب ل ع م ر ت و ع ز ت ي و م ئ ذ No but on that day it lives long and became powerful and mighty. : عثمان Narrated Uthmaan When he sent for me after he had taken the key earlier I remembered the words he had said to me at that time. I came to him Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam with a smiling face and he received me with a smiling face and then said: خ ذ وه ا ي ا ب ن ى أ ب ى ط ل ح ة ت ال د ة خ ال د ة ال ي ن ز ع ه ا إال ظ ال م ي ا ع ث م ان إن للا اس ت أ م ن ك م ع ل ى ب ي ت ه ف ك ل وا ب ال م ع ر وف. Take it O children of Abee Talhah\,بني أبي طلحة you will keep this key forever and will not take it from you but a wrong doer. O Uthmaan عثمان Allaah\ هللا entrusted you with His House. Make money out of it in lawful way When I left him and turned away he Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Sallam called me, I came back and he said: Didn t go the way I had told you? أ ل م ي ك ن ال ذ ى ق ل ت ل ك

5 5 I then remembered what he had told me in Makkah\ مكة and said: certainly! I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allaah\.هللا Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam handed him the key, while the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam was laying down on the ground on his cloth and said: أ ع ين وه و ق ال : ق م ع ل ى ال ب اب و ك ل ب ال م ع ر وف Help him! And then said Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam: Stand at the door meaning be always available to open it- earn your lively hood with this key, but only in a lawful and good manner! End of quotation of Al Waaqedee\,الواقدي may هللاAllaah forgive him. After the death of Uthmaan\ عثمان the key went to his brother and it will be with their children until the Day of Judgment. In this Hadeeth is also a glad tiding for Uthmaan ben Talhah\ بن طلحة :عثمان it means that his male offspring will be there until the Day of Judgment and that they will be Muslims!!! Al Baghawee\ البغوي in the tafseer\ التفسير of this Aayah of Suuratu Al Nisaa\ سورة النساء reports that the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam, while giving the key of The House to Uthmaan ben Talhah\ عثمان بن طلحة also said: "أال ال إيمان لمن ال أمانة له وال دين لمن ال عهد له" Surely he has no faith who breaches trusts, and is not on any religion he who does not respect agreements. بيت هللا The key of The House of Allaah The keeper of the key today \ is in the hands of Banee Shaybah\ شيبة,بني the family of Uthmaan ben Talhah\ بن طلحة,عثمان the man who got it from the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Sallam. During the centuries until today when kings and dignitaries want to enter the House they ask this family to open the door for them. No king had ever had the key in his possession! Whoever does that is a wrong doer, a thaalem\ ظالم as the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Sallam called him. In this year of 1r40 Hejree, 2019 Gregorian the keeper of the key is Dr. Al Shaikh Saaleh ben Zaynu Al Aabedeena Al Shaybee\ الدكتور الشيخ صالح بن زين العابدين الشيبي (The 77 th holder of the key).

6 6 How Uthmaan ben Talhah\ عثمان بن طلحة got the key of The House in the first place?! زيد بن كالب بن مرة murrah\ Zayd ben Kelaab ben قصي بن كالب بن مرة Qusayy ben Kelaab ben Murrah ben Ka b ben Lu-ayy ben Ghaaleb ben Fehr is the fourth (قريش Quraysh\ is the man called also فهرFehr ) بن كعب بن لؤي بن غالب بن فهر \ grandfather of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam and was the leader of Makkah Al Mukarramah\ المكرمة.مكة قصيQusayy and was born about one hundred seventy years before the birth of the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe.زيد Zayd\ Wa Sallam which is the year four hundred Gregorian. His given name was s قصيQusayy father Kelaab ben كالب بن مرةMurrah died when قصيQusayy was about two years and was just weaned from breastfeeding his mother. His mother was Faatemh bentu Sa d ben Sayal\ بنت سعد بن سيل,فاطمة of the tribe of Al Jadarata\,الجدرة subclan Ju thumah\ جعثمة from.اليمن Yaman\ of Al األزد Azd\ Al Then his mother married a man from the tribe of Qudaa ah\ قضاعة and he took her and her son Zayd\ زيد to his tribal territory in Al Shaam\,الشام in Syria\,سورية that is so far away from Zayd قصيQusayy and he was nicknamed,مكة المكرمة Mukarramah\ s زيد own country of Makkah Al \ which comes from Qaseyyan\ قصية the one who went far away from his country of Makkah Al.مكة المكرمةMukarramah قصيQusayy had four sons: (One) Abdu Manaaf\ مناف,عبد the father of Haashem\ هاشم and third grandfather of the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam. (Two) Abdu.عبد Abde\ (Four).عبد العزى Uzzaa\ (Three) Abdu Al.عبد الدار Ddaar\ Al Abdu عبد منافManaaf became a leader in his own right and gained the highest social status and political leadership during the lifetime of his father.قصيqusayy Abu Al عبد العزىUzzaa and عبدAbdi became respected leaders as well during the life time of their father.قصيqusayy Abdu Al الدارDdaar,عبد who was his first born son did not achieve these social status and political :عبد الدارDdaar said to his son Abdu Al قصيQusayy positions in the community. By Allaah\ وهللا my son I will make you catch up with your brothers, for I will give you the key of The House and they will not enter unless you open the door for them. Quraysh\ قريش will not be able to declare war without you for I will give you Al Lewaa\ The /اللواء Flag of War and it will be in your hands (That is why Mus ab ben Umayr\ مصعب بن عمير may هللاAllaah be pleased with him was carrying the Flag of the Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam on the Day of Uhud\ يوم أحد where he was killed as a martyr. The Flags of the polytheist on that day were also carried by men of Abdu Al Ddaar\ عبد الدار and all of them were killed. :إبن إسحاق Es-haaq\ Narrated Ebnu Abuu Sufyaan\ أبوسفيان said to the standard bearer of Quraysh\ قريش on that day inciting them to battle: O Banoo Abdu Al الدارDdaar,عبد you had charge of our flag on the day of Badr\ يوم بدر - you saw what happened. Men are dependent on the fortunes of their flags, so either you must guard our standard efficiently or you must leave it to us and we will save you the trouble (of defending) it.

Quraysh\ قريش will meet no where else and take no decisions but in your house for I give you Daaru Al Nadwah\ دار الندوة (which was قصيQusayy residence and the meeting place of the.(قريش Quraysh\ governing body of Uthmaan ben Talhah\ عثمان بن طلحة was of the tribe of Banee Abdu Al Ddaare\ بني عبد الدار and of this family, and that is how he came in the possession of the key of The House. The two best jobs for mankind, هللا \ Allaah The two best jobs in the world that a man can have are (One) To be a Messenger of where he is employed by هللاAllaah to deliver His Message. هللا. His employer is Allaah Most High هللاAllaah (Two) The keeper of the key of The House of.سبحانه وتعالى \ بسم رلاهللا مقبرة الحجون \ المعالءHujoon The graveyard of Al البالدي Balaadee\ Al Al Balaadee\ البالدي said: Al Hujoon\ الحجون is the name of the mountains where the ancient graveyard of Makkah\ مكة is located. The eastern side of the mountain is called Jabalu Athaakher\,جبل أذاخر the mountain that overlooks the mountain pass (today a street in Makkah\ (مكة of أذاخرAthaakher. This pass will take you to Al Khurmaaneyah\ الخرمانية (the agricultural farm of Mr. Khurmaan\,(بستان الخرمان and this is the pass where the Messenger of Allaah Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam entered Makkah Al Mukarramah\ مكة المكرمة the Day of the Victory\.يوم فتح مكة Therefore the mountain of Al Hujoon\ الحجون is the mountain at which base the ancient tombs on its South/West side. In this graveyard is the grave of Khadeejah\ خديجة may Allaah\ هللا be pleased with her. End quote. خديجة بنتKhuwayled In this graveyard are buried: the Mother of the Believers Khadeejah bentu wife of Prophet Muhammad Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam and her خويلد \ sons Al Qaasemu\ القاسم and Abdu Allaahe\ ;عبد هللا Aboo Taaleb\ ;أبوطالب Abdu Al Muttaleb ben Haashem\ ;عبد المطلب بن هاشم Abdu Shams ben Abdu Manaaf\ عبد شمس بن عبد مناف the twin brother of Haashem \. Here is also أهل البيت, and many other members of Ahlu Al Bayte هاشم

The Prophet Sallaa Allaahu Alayhe Wa Alaa Aalehe Wa Sallam said: "أبوبكر منا أهل البيت.". أهل البيتBayte is of us Ahla Al بوبكرBakr Aboo This graveyard is about seven hundred meters from the Al Masjedu Al Haraame\ المسجد الحرام on.شارع غزة Street\ the Ghazzah The graveyard of Al Hujoon\ الحجون.مقبرة Under the mountain the walled section of is that of Ahlu Al أهل البيتBayte.
